Founders’ Story

Founded in 1997 by Greg Gunn & Mark Naylor, Family Vision Ministries has helped thousands of families develop their unique Family Vision & Mission statements to lay their own foundations for many Godly generations.

A brief history from Greg Gunn:

My wife and I were married August 27th, 1983. Our Family Vision started for us in 1997 when Rhonda and I were encouraged to write family goals and a mission statement by our associate pastor who felt that it would give us a greater sense of purpose and allow us to find the calling that God had for our family.

During that first weekend, little did we know that what came out of our pen was not only a defining moment for our family, but the beginning of an opportunity to share our experience with other families. I have owned my own Financial Services business for twenty-two years and have twelve offices in two states with a focus of helping families with their personal finances, so working with families was nothing new to me. The Family Vision ministry actually started as a part of the Sunday school class that I teach and then expanded into my business. Now I’m getting invitations to teach all over the country. I believe we have a message for this generation and I’m excited about expanding  its impact and serving families throughout the world.
