Charity: “You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11 God’s most important commandments are to love Him with all your heart, soul and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. The entire Bible is the story of God’s unrelenting love for mankind. May we live each day to expand our hearts to have the kind of love for Him and for others that is generous in every way. “But just as you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us – see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” The Character of Charity: FOUND

Purity: “… let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1 We must always remember that Christ is the standard of purity, not the world we live in. When you know who you are in Christ, you’ll know what to do, or even what not to do. Purity is being free from contamination and immorality, especially in the areas of behavior and dress. “Your adornment must not be merely external – braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.” 1 Peter 3:3-4 The Character of Purity: FOUND
