Promise to My Kids

PROMISE TO MY KIDS: I will stalk you, freak out on you, lecture you, drive you crazy, be your nightmare, embarrass you in front of your friends, hunt you down like a bloodhound until the day you understand why I do it. Only then will I know you are a responsible adult. And all because I LOVE YOU…. In fact, you will never find someone who loves you and cares about you more than your parents!
Sound Off: Do you promise to love your kids like this?
We did promise to love them like that and we did! But I made them one more promise, I promised to pray for them. They knew that meant I would be praying for God to watch over them, keep them safe, and let them get caught if they needed too.
We’re on the other side of parenting now, they are 23 & 26. God is so good and faithful to honor our efforts.
Worth the fight!!
